The Government of Anguilla permits couples to marry on the island under the authority of a special license which takes 48 hours to process by the Registrar’s office. It is essential that couples arrive at least two full working days before their ceremony date. The Registrar’s office is closed during weekends and all Anguilla’s public holidays.
- Proof of citizenship such as valid passport, birth certificate or driver’s license with photo
- Proof of divorce or death certificate is required in the event of re-marrying
